Six years ago, when I moved to Chicago, I started painting again after a fifteen year hiatus.

Creating was what brought me the most joy as a little girl, but somewhere along the way life happened and I lost that part of myself. Somehow I found my way back to it.

Creating makes me feel expansive.

This version of me, the one that creates freely, is when I feel most in bloom.
